Ron Zacapa Ambar 12

Ron con fuerte olor y sabor a alcohol, poco para saborear.

Zapach: Dębina, Pieczony banan, rodzynki - zapach sprawia cne wrażenie, alkohol dobrze ukryty.

Smak: Delikatna słodycz podbita ciepłą wanilią, melon, brzoskwinia, orzech

Wracając z wczasów w Bułgarii nabyliśmy ten rum za dość fajną cenę - 32 Eur za 1L butelkę. Namówiła mnie żona - próbowała kilka miesięcy wcześniej odmianę 23YO twierdząc że smakuje bardzo szlachetnie. W momencie zakupu okazało się że producent mimo uwypuklonej liczby "12" na frontowej etykiecie nie pisze wyraźnie że ta Whisky ma 12 lat, a dokładnie termin "System 12 Solera". Na kontretykiecie widnieje opis - wiek od 4 do 12 lat. Ok - nie fajne zagranie z prostego powodu - kanał duty free czesto powoduje że moment zakupu nie pozwala na komfortowe pod względem dysponowania wolnym czasem zakupy - wiele osób chwyci ten trunek w biegu. Mimo tego małego (według mojej osoby) zgrzytu zawartość jest aromatyczna i porządna - rum charakteryzuje się wysoką jakością i jest na granicy akceptowalności stosowania go w drinkach. Jednak miejscami sprawia wrażenie ciężkiego - trudno go jednoznacznie określić.

The amber is sweet and soft in mouth but a bit strong on after taste due high taste of alcohol. For an aged rum I expected the after taste less alcohol so the real soft sweet remains longer. Still good enough to drink but add a drip of water

Very smooth easy drinking rum suits a end of evening drink.

Ron Zacapa de bajo linaje comparado con sus hermanos SOlera 23 y XO, buen aroma, color naranja y presentacion impecable, a gusto para tomarlo solo y muy bueno para mezclas. Relacion costo beneficio muy buena, aproximadamente 20 dolares. Aprobado!

Its price its good, specially for a Zacapa. For a aged rum you can feel the alcohol, I dont drink with ice and it feels a little heavy for aroma and taste.

Grabbed this at the airport at the start of this week. Bring a zacapa fan I had not seen this bottle in the states. Overall has the taste of the 23 but obviously not as mature, or as pricy. Would buy it again if I see it available

A nice light coloured rum worthy of tasting, easy to drink!

Bought this at "duty free" in Cancun airport. So far, the Ron Zacapa brand has been un-impressive. This rum is underwhelming with a very light "aged" taste with a hint of cherry (I am not a Dr. Pepper fan). While at the Cancun airport I also purchased a bottle of the RZ XO, I hope to finally hit on a RZ which impresses.

It's a great rum if you like whiskey which I do, it's smooth to start then you get whiskey flavour, then plum and raisin notes like a nice cognac.The rum is dry at the end it's definitely one to to try, although the zacapa 23 is smoother and sweeter they are both not to turn down.
