I like the salty taste but could be more salty. Its special - i have no other rum like that. I like but not for everyday. I don't think that it is too sweet...
it's something else but certainly not bad
you will get salty lips
Interesting non-standard spicing profile. Light golden colour. Smoked aroma with hints of leather. Salt on lips at first sip with bites of spiciness on tongue. Butterscotch and herbs can be sensed in subsequent sips as one gets used to salt. The sweetness does not however make it up for moderately harsh burn in the aftertaste. Overall an interesting and recommendable experience but i prefer others.
The saltiness is new but goood. Very complimentary to the other sweet and spicy flavors. Like a good meal, first you have the savory (salty) dishes before you move to the dessert (sweet). This is where vanilla plum and rozes come to taste. The aftertaste is spicy to remind you that you're drinking a good rum. Black pepper, dark chocolate and cinnamon for me here.
Really good rum!
Good rum but the sea salt flavour needs some time to get used to.
Lip smacking sea salt with caramel afterburner. Like a Red headed left-gander, unorthodox but acceptable 😉
I got this rum in my monthly subscription box and I was not disappointed. It is unusual to have sweet and salted but its really good. Straight up you get the hit on salt on your lips instantly and as you drink it the warm caramel sweetness warms your throat. I found that with ginger beer this is an epic mix. Highly recommended
The salt really comes through, its a very unique tasting rum. Only tried straight up, but I also imagine the salt taste would compliment a sweet mixer too
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Overly sweet and spiced rum that would disgust the toughest palates. Thank you but no thank you.
