Despise it's questionable quality, the Old Pascas achieved to create rum which tastes almost exactly like kerosene (and thanks to little accident I know that taste) mixed with molasses. It's dread rum and I do not recommend buying it to nobody, but you should taste that once in your lifetime. And if you're experienced mixologist, you can have fun with this bottle and it's unique taste. And it's cheap and bottle will last so so long (because 2cl is enough for any mixer you can imagine).

Perfect drinking rum. If you don´t like the taste of rum and still want to mix a drink with dark rum. This is the choice for you..

It bites your palate when tasted. Strong alchocol taste. Unpleasent feeling.

A friend of mine turned up with a bottle of this once. This is one of the cheapest dark rums on the market in the Netherlands at around €12 per litre. Stinks of glue or paint thinner out of the bottle, left it to settle for a while, but the smell was there to stay. Had a couple with coke and ice and we both agreed it was undrinkable. Worst dark rum I have ever tried. Only bottle of rum I have ever emptied in the sink.

I use this to cook with. Not for drinking, just throwing over pineapple on the grill.

Blanco's dark bro, it is a bit better, the additives brought some relieve to nose and taste buds as they masked the harshness. With lots of coke it is so so, but it still pays off to add a few bucks to get something more pleasant..

But still not good. More aromatic than bianco. It's cheap.

Expextations were quite low, but this rum is surprisingly tasty.
Aroma with wood and glue.
Taste carries some jamaican funk. Taste is roung and smooth. Aftertaste somehow bittersweet and short, which is the weakest part.
It can be consumable as a sipper, but surely will be excellent for mixing as it holds typical jamaican signature

Nothing really you want in your selection...spent please a little more money at something you are even able to mix.
