Beautiful mahogany color. Nose is on nuts, bitter almond. The very noble dried fruits. Very sweet, subtle. We arrive then on notes of coffee, mocha, gingerbread. It's very round, greedy. On the palate, black fruits, a side grilled, smoked, leather. A superb length in the mouth. a superb rum. very nice selection.
Nose: Some acetone, otherwise overly sweet, candied nuts, walnuts and hazelnuts, with lots of honey on top, also dried fruit in honey, apricot, peach, lots of salted caramel and popcorn, truffle butter.
Taste: Gingerbread, candied ginger, nice honey, a bit hotter than on the nose, dried fruit galore, apricot, peach, pecans, molasses, hint of baked apple, sweet tobacco.
Finish: Slightly smoky, toasted oak, toasted walnuts, leather, oak, surprisingly bitter after the previous distinct sweetness
Comment: Solid, but somehow doesn't overwhelm me, the bitter finish is one extreme, the sweetness before on the other hand was also a bit too much, bit chaotic.

This rum is still available, it was release in 2016 I think. Got this on the black friday sale for 130€. It was released for 150-160€. I have high expectations.
Rich and sweet at the beginning with herbs and pencil shavings (this reminds me of HV LP TECA a little bit and of Diamond MEEA mark, the one with honey and strong herbs flavors). The sweetness is very concentrated.
I get the honey, caramel, wood and flowers first. This is already a very tasty start. Tobaco, leather, molasses are the heavy notes in the nose. Then I get some banana, honey sweetness, vanilla and some wood (the typical Enmore wood, it's like green walnuts). Some cherries at the end with a slightly sour note. This is a very good and complex nose.
The taste starts very flowery with wood and not as sweet as the nose, it's rather dry. Then herbs, vanilla, some tannins, burned sugar and apricot. The taste gets sweet, all flavors fits together.
The middle starts sweeter with caramel and the wood, some tannins are there but not too much. Further anise, orange peels, a hint of berries and leather. The middle taste is very rich and complex.
In the finish I get the spice, anise, mint, leather, black tea and wood varnish.
This is overall a great rum, I'm not shocked but very excited. I would rate it with 94 points.
