The rum smells quite fruity and alcoholic. The first taste reminds me of an Whisky, then it gets sweeter. The alcoholic is quite prominent but still nice. A great Rum.

Today a have a Versailles still rum in the glas. It's always a highlight, I like this juice with woody flavours from this woody pot still. We should expect continental aging here.

The nose is a litte bit shy but sharp, bright and sour. It smells like a continental versailles.
It reminds me of the Boutique-Y PM. From the nose I would gues it's a PM.
I get melon with citrus, white oak and sour apples, like in the Hampden of Smith&Cross. In the background are also some grasy notes.
Not very complex nose overall, I would prefer more deeper and warm flavours like honey.

The taste starts warm a little bit sweet with melone, turns very fast into the sour notes of citrus and Hampden apples. Then I get some oak and some sweetness from honey. The alcohol starts tingeling in the mouth. It's sharp overall.
The middle starts with white oak and honey, the alcohol is tingeling (it distrubs the enjoyment).
Then I get melon and grasy notes.
The finish is spicy or sharp, middle long. I get grasy notes, white oak, a little bit like paper.
Some hints of melon and a buttery note (I like this note).
I would rate this one with 79 points. The nose is not complex, the taste should be more saturated or aged. It's a little bit too bright and sharp overall. A good budget VSG, but with some weak edges.

Nose: melon with citrus, white oak, sour apples (like Smith&Cross), grasy notes
Taste initial: warm mouthfeel, vanilla, melon and sour notes of citrus, apples, some oak and honey, spice
Middle: white oak and honey, more melon, more spice, grasy notes
Finish: spice, grasy notes, white oak, paper, some melon, a buttery warm note
Aftertaste: melon, some honey, buttery note

Sweetness: 1/5
Fruits: 3.5/5
Spice: 4/5
Mildness: 2/5
Complexity: 3/5
Value (60€): 3/5

Straw colour, light gold. The nose is on the black olive, the artichoke. Then we come to the exotic fruits. On the palate, it sticks to the palate a maximum, alcohol is present with notes of butter and vanilla. It's strong but there is no evolution, it's pretty flat. Not great
