This comes out of, allegedly, the oldest rum distiller in the United States, ~20 years old, and well I really was not impressed. It lacks complexity and came off really flat to me. Its not terrible, but there are so many better choices.

This one has some substance. It just doesn't have enough character or depth. If a cocktail calls for dark or gold rum you can't miss with this. Great mixer. Quality rum. Not a sipper.....but close.

Soft and perfectly sweet.
Nothing extraordinary but it's worth a try

Theirs is the worst rum I have tasted. I kept trying to find a mix that would work. Nothing worked. I powered trough straight up to suffer through. Not good at all.

Pretty average overall; flavors are either too strong or too light - but they overwhelm each other so it's just hard to savor, and ends up quite bold/harsh to my taste. However, that does give it a reasonable amount of kick in a mixed drink with fruit juices. I would probably drink it straight after finishing a bottle of good stuff :/

But not that good also.
In the nose is grass and sugarcane.
In the mouth fisrt sip is has spicy kick. Taste is heavy with caramel, nuts and gras.
Finish is long and sweet, but rum is not overall good balanced.

Minner lite om Rum, synes ikke dette smakte godt. Trur ikke jeg kommer til å kjøpe Rom fra USA flere ganger.

What a surprise! From smelling it to having a second sip it is a whole journey! In love. From butterscotch to rubber to beautiful paradise! So many tastes and so pleasant.

Duft af fermenteret frugt. Smagen er først sød med lidt kiks, frugt, vanilie og lakrids. Eftersmagen giver lidt fornemmelse af nødder i næsen. Heldigvis hænger duft og smag ikke sammen, da duften er slem. 21. December 2018.

I was expecting at least a bacardi level rum with this one at 20 $ from wholefoods l, however what i drank had a very strong alcohol smell with the taste of an early year corn whiskey. Sickeningly sweet and hard to swallow on it's own, hardly the sipping rum it claims to be. Not smooth in the least unless you count having your sinuses so overloaded by the smell they cannot notice the stinging burn as it goes down your throat. Was looking forward to trying it but I'm very sorry to say i am not a fan.
