This Extreme Fiji was only brought out in 2000 bottles worldwide and has an excellent high cask strenght that will make you feel like tasting the angel's share of the barrel.
A beautifull rum with a punch. The high alcohol level assures a long and lingering aftertaste. I was lucky enough to taste this rum in 2017 at the Spirits in the Sky festival in Brussels.
As we're heading for the end of 2018 while I'm writing this it seems that I can't remember the details of it's taste. The thing I can say is that this one realy blew me away so when it came out I've bought a bottle and luckely I was able to obtain one.
Correct me if I'm wrong but what I can remember of this rum is that it had a nose of leather, varnish and exotic fruit. And yes due to it's 61.8% alcohol level it was more like a devil than an angel but it was smooth and delicious.
The aroma is very fruity, citrus and rich, you can also smell herbs, bananas and handles. Nothing bites or burns anywhere. The taste is a lot in orange peel and other tropical fruits
