I like some sweet honney drinks like Jack Daniels Honey, but this Guajiro is too artificial.

Extrémně sladké a ovocné. Chutná spíš jako medovina, asi bych to ani nepovažoval za rum,ale svoje místo si určitě najde. Ať už samotný nebo v drinku.

What can I say? Perfect! Superb! Extra! Awesome! One of the best Honey Rums so Ronmieles I’ve tasted.

And yeah BTW Gaujiro Ronmiel aka Honey Rum is not a rum it is a rum based liquor which is specific for Canary Islands (Spain) and within EU its origin is marked with Protected Designation of Origin. What means that legally it has to fulfill given requirements for production and origin to be recognized as Ronmiel.

By design it a mix of local Canaria Rum and local honey (at least 2%).

Guajiro 30% is sweet, has a deep taste full of spices and nuances. It dense almost oily. Has a deep mahogany color. For me it differs a lot from any others.

You don’t drink, you sipp it gently and slowly, not to much. If you’ll approach it like any other rum then you fail on the prerequisites level ;)

If you approach it as a drink...it won't dissapoint you at all....rum?...aaah...not really..sweet honey taste...fruity...hard to drink more than a little glass...

My Mrs brought me back a small bottle of Guajiro from the Canary Islands as a reward for being her airport taxi ride. Fortunately (as I said) she brought me back a small bottle and not a litre because, frankly, I do not think my system could tolerate the substance in large volumes.
I get that it is Ronmiel but there is a lack of balance, the dominant theme being honey over rum.
Taken neat I think it could simply be used on top of porridge or poured over toast as it is incredibly sweet.
I attempted to dilute the Guajiro with Coca Cola but it just battered its way through to my taste buds reminding me of the SunnyD (Sunny Delight) effect - all syrup and so much sugar its a a danger to your teeth.
Interesting but not really pleasurable.
