I'm not really a big fan of honey so when i smelled this i was almost thinking about not drinking it! But wow, when you drink it, it tastes like a really smooth rum! Though afterwards the honey taste is a bit too much, this is a really good rum! Specially if you do like honey!
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Not bad, but the honey is way overpowering

I'm into the sweeter rums. And I was intrigued by this fairtrade rum sweetened by organic bee honey from La Palma. It is produced from local organic sugar cane from La Palma and distilled in a 80-year old wood fred copper kettle. Distilled in June 2015, this rum has aged in just 1,5 years, 7 months at sea in selected white oak casks. The nose is dominated by the honey. Too much to be honest. The palette is sweet with just a light alcohol burn. The finish is honey again. All-in-all a fun try and a different rum, but probably not a re-buy.
