40% blend of Panamanian rums aged 7 - 20 years prepared especially for the Czech distributor Bartida.
Bottle: Nice shape supplied in a tube.
Colour: Light amber.
Nose: There is caramel, dark chocolate, chocolate covered cherries, wood and surprisingly no pungent alcohol.
Taste: It is sweet and a little more alcoholic. The palate shows caramel, nougat chocolate, sweet wine, raisins and pepper. Overall, the taste is more watery and not as balanced as the aroma.
In my opinion, this is a less aged sweet rum with an alcoholic tail. The flavour is a little unbalanced.

Samozřejmě lepší než Republica, také mnohem dražší.
V tomto rumu se vám nabízí příjemná sladkost s tóny karamelu, vanilky a trošky dubu.
Krásná intenzivní vůně, sladký, ale ne přeslazený. Oblíbil jsem si ho hned po prvním ochutnání (asi jsem se nějak dobře nadýchl :)). Je to 1 ze 7 rumů, které si kupuji opakovaně.

The nose is quite different from Malteco/Malecon or Abuelo, it is spicy, with dominant licorice, quite interesting, the body is on the flat side, not very elaborated, with dominant sugar, vanilla, raisins and something herbal - like cough medicine. The aftertaste is spicy and burning. The barrel is almost not present, which is a surprise for the age statement on the rum. If you like sweetened rums, you can add a point to my score.

Je cítit cedrem, oříšky, karamelem a sladkost tak akorat. Docela příjemný rum který neurazí.

Nice little more sweet rum with good flavor Of orange and caramel. Little nuts and ending taste with feeling of enough alcohol.

Sweet spanish style rum. "Exclusively" made for Czech market (no one else aparently wants it). Hints of toffee and caramel nothing extra ordinary except touch of smoke in the finish. Most of flavour provided by sugar. Sadly people here wants it that way.

Imported directly for Czech company and the appearence is just like this, sweet blend of rums with maximum age of 18 years, I would say there is just a drop of the old ones. The sugar covers all the taste.
