This is a start up company out of Woodinville, WA. Any legitimate rum is made from sugarcane. I donโt know what they use but the after taste of this rum makes me think of turpentine, itโs horrible. Iโve had bad rims in the past but this is the first time Iโve tossed out a full bottle of rum after just a couple of uses.

Through both the nose and mouth, this rum delivers the same things: molasses, yeast and copper. You've gotta hand it to the maker, it's impressive that he can take all three pieces of the distilling process and have them come out in the final product. However, that said, it just doesn't taste that great, and it doesn't play nicely in cocktails either...
