Rum tasting in Cozumel continues with Ron Izapa Blanco. Decent bottle and label design. Clear color. Mild vanilla and oak mixed with plenty of unaged alcohol to your nose and palate when neat sipped. Dry burn at the end.

Interesting Rhum for sure. Initially itβs funky and a bit rough, but it quickly mellows out showcasing its Guadeloupe flavors of grass and honey, with a spicy cinnamon finish. Hangs on a bit in the mouth. I like it. Not quite as refined as a quality Bielle, but still a nice offering. Better on the backside than the frontside.
