It’s an unmistakable a Bajan rum.
But it differs from the other I have with its strong cocos and vanilla aroma and taste as well as during the afterburn. It’s very soft and smooth. The afterburn is initially quite strong but that doesn’t last very long after that there is coming a quite long but weak afterburn.
As a summary it’s quite OK, but none of my favorites mostly because I’m not a fan of independent bottlers.
But my wife likes it, so I leave it to her.

Warm and deep taste. Fruity just as needed. But I can not give an 8, because for that higher quality is needed, and better price-value ratio.
It is quite nice, better than average, but nothing special. Quite smooth, but can have more flavours.
Ok I can’t wait any longer been here for several weeks. Ok this is more like it from Barbados with love. Had to wash the Last tasting down. Medium dark golden color, very smooth on the nose slight hint of vanilla. First taste neat very smooth again slight vanilla taste, think French toast. Not overly sweet but could work over French toast or ice cream. Moderate depth still with me but not crazy as 40% alcohol. This is nice above average rum and uniquely its own continuing with some baking spice notes maybe a hint of peppermint?
Duftet nach Barbados Rum feines Holz mit etwas Vanille
Im Mund etwas süss ebenfalls vanille und etwas Holz.
Alles in allem etwas flach aber nicht wirklich mild.
