I'm not a real fan of cheap VI rums, but this cheapie is better than most. It doesn't have as much of a burn as some of the others. It's a cheap rum, treat it that way.
If you're looking for a decent cheap light rum for Rum and Cokes, this will do the job.
Petrol....with an acidic finish. I wouldn't even put in whopatooli.
Unfortunately my favorite neighborhood tavern uses this as their rail rum - with only Bacardi and Myers dark as the only upgrades. That being said, this is a simple almost vodka like pour that virtually disappears in any drink.
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

In the bottle from an estate sale. Pours clear. I’m not entirely sure how old this bottle of rum is, but it was still sealed. Mild cotton candy and boiled vegetables to the aroma. Thin burning mouthfeel. A unidimensional silver rum, even back in the day I suppose.
