Pretty neutral on nose, notes of cane.

Somehow harsh, burning on tongue. Quickly becomes smooth and pleasant on palate.
Oak, dried fruits, nuts, cane and spicyness. Not that regular spices like salt and pepper, instead something intriguing, like Indian rich.

Let it breathe for 5min and enjoy one of the best ever rum ;)

Cherry, cedar, varnish, all the good stuff with the signature vegetal note of agricole. Great stuff, and again, could easily fool avid bourbon drinkers, particularly ones that love the profile of Four Roses!

Ce rhum, payé 50€, est clairement au niveau de certains à +150€.
Il est fruité, frais, et boisé. Il prend le meilleur du jeune et le meilleur du vieux. Il aurait pu être un mélange d'ESB et de XO. C'est assez incroyable et c'est surtout très bon ! Bon nez, attaque raisonnable et délicieuse (pour ses 54,2°) et une très belle finale, longue et gourmande.
Je recommande chaudement !

Neisson Profile 105 - 54.2% ABV, yet the label says 80 proof. Accoring to my sources, they used zebra casks of American and French oak, which may or may not be AOC certifiable.

This Neisson is super different than the unaged ones. Incredibly tame, warm, and caramel-y. The palate offers much more in the way of agricole notes. Also cola and wood. A great agricole channeling bourbon. Touch of cherry. You wouldn't want to bottle this at a much lower proof.

Beautiful bronze colour going to gold. On the nose, it is very pastry, candied fruit, plum, prunes, nuts, almond. Woody, vanilla. Brown sugar, brown sugar. In the mouth, a nice attack with vanilla, the woody side and pastry always present. Nice length in the mouth with a long finish on spices, pepper. It's very hot. Nice rum. Good surprise.

Le nez est vanillé, chocolaté avec une note de miel. L’aération laisse apparaitre une touche beurrée/caramélisée mais pas écœurante, plutôt très agréable même.
La bouche apporte un délicieux boisé vanillé/grillé. Un mélange coco/chocolat et des agrumes.
La final est longue toujours accompagné d’agrumes. C’est frais, différent et c’est putain de bon.
Ce rhum est surprenant, improbable.

Allez on oublie son jeune age et sa technique nouvelle de vieillissement et on se concentre sur son jus comme si on le servait à un copain qui ne saurait rien de tout ça. C'est rond et gourmand, ya du peps et c'est frais, ça ressemble à rien de ce qu'on a déjà bu mais on ne peut pas se tromper ça reste un putain de bon rhum. Une finale un peu trop légère pour mériter le 10 qui tombera surement s'ils font un 3 ou 5 ans d'age avec les mêmes futs. Mais ne nous trompons pas, on est quand même en présence d'un surdoué

Couleur : entre un bel or soutenu et auburn,
Belle viscosité, un côté bien gras,
Nez : le premier nez est assez vif, sur l’alcool, un côté piquant ! Le second nez permet de percevoir des notes herbacées, légèrement épicée (poivre), boisée et des notes de caramel brûlé :-)
Bouche : c’est tout d’abord chaud et vif, ensuite se développent des notes épicées, légèrement amères (chocolat noir) et des notes fraîches de canne à sucre :-)
Finale : bien longue, côté frais, mentholé et épicé (poivre piquant) !

A tester, un rhum très bien foutu à un prix réduit :-)
