I hoped this would be a decent white rum--at least something that I could treat visitors with by saying it was locally made. Sadly, as much as I like Taiwan, this country just can't make rum. Maybe one day, but not yet. This rum has almost no flavor. It's just alcohol that you can use to add to a drink. It's okay hiding in a Mojito, but it doesn't pass the daiquiri test. It probably won't ruin Coke, though--unlike some rums--so I guess it has that going for it.
I am not surprised that there is finally a Rum that was made from Taiwan!
Although it is a white rum, but it is oak aged superior rum which has the complexity in its flavours; honey, vanilla, pineapple, spicy.
Because they uses the finest sugar canes and water from a natural cold spring!
You must try it yourselves!
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Always nice to enjoy a rum from a new country. A bit sharp, but worth the Taiwan experience.
