Cane Island Cuba Gran Anejo

I have never been a big fan of the rums from Cane Island, so i was hesitant to taste this one, but like it often happens this one suprised me in a good way.

Nose: Vanilla, spicy oak and some cinnamon and funky fruits in the back
Taste: Vanilla, raisins and brown sugar that carries over to a pleasant aftertaste
Overall: This is not a complex rum in any way, but with that said, it can easily work as an everyday sipper, when you just need to clear your head and enjoy a glass of rum.

Färgton är mörk guldig. Aromen känns tunn, lite frukt och vanilj, svår att känna. Smaken är pepprig, på tungspettsen och i gommen. Lite vanilj. Helt okej rom men alla är så unga, skulle säkert vara mycket godare i äldre versioner.

Lite frukt i doften, smaken är vaniljig, ganska mild smak med lite pepprighet. Känns lite tunn.

Blend of 3-5 years old rum aged in Bourbon barrels from Distilera Cubay & Santo Domingo de Villa Clara. Sweet and balanced with a note of wood.
