Nice rum to drink for relaxing. Notes of vanilla, not aggressive, taste lingers in your mouth. Good experience at a fair price.
Good taste for the price and best used for mixed drinks.
Great tast of vanilla mix with coke and ice just love it
Bottled at 50% abv, the nose reminds me initially of powdered hot chocolate or packaged cake mix - fake but enticing... There is also a pleasant green lumber note in the nose that is not what I expected, in a good way. The palate has some sweetness, with faint spice but no readily discernible component tastes...and yet, it has a decent roundness and mouthfeel. I’m not a huge seeker of spiced rums and while this is no better than a 5, I was expecting much worse. I would never seek this out but in a pinch, it’s not terrible, either.
This one I have found to be a good rum to drink over ice if you like a stronger flavor than just the normal spiced rum. Some one mentioned better than Drano and I have to admit i have never tasted Drano so cant compare it LOL
Not bad for a spice rum but I’m still looking for a great spiced rum. Strong at 47%.
Yes, you have tried the original spiced rum .UPGRADE ...NOW !!
This isn’t for the faint hearted ......more kick this gives !...MMMMMM
I find with most spiced rums, they take away the taste of the original spirit. This is not too bad as far as it goes. Good for parties when mixed with coke.

Variety is not the spice of life 3 out of 10
I guess if you really push it this is ever so slightly better than the “regular” Captain. But it’s still barely drinkable deeply hidden in a mixed drink. The “Captain” would be better served swabbing the decks with this than consuming it.
