Flor de Caña Blanco Reserva 7-Year

Thinking I was getting the gran reserva 7 años but this arrived at the table. Was pleasantly surprised, well worth a try and also good in simple cocktails

Table rum That’s what I would call it. This is good enough for your cocktails, and good enough to take shots of, if you don’t want to break the bank.

The first impression is good, but i expected a slightly less sharpness. Many fruity tones are present in the right amounts. I only drink it in the mix with coke, like all my other reviews. But i think i can be a starting sipper.

Full-bodied, smooth and creamy, Blanco Reserva has a sweetly floral nose, with just a hint of vanilla. Ideal on the rocks or served with a dash of sparkling water and a twist of orange. Its aging makes it ideal also to enhance the flavours in cocktail.
