Nose:
Intensive, sweet, smooth and lovely.
Smells like sweets ... marzipan and chocolate, more exactly rum-raisin-nut chocolate.
Schluckwerder Marzipan Taler "Plum in Madeira" and dried fruits (raisins, prunes) and Port Wine.
Furthermore there are notes of coffee.
Palate:
Bold and mouth filling, fruity, sweet and very spicy (pepper, chili, ginger).
Furthermore there are notes of raspberry jam and toffee.
Superb!
Finish:
Medium long, warming from deep inside.
Oily and slightly medicinal (basic aluminum acetate) with a dry and spicy aftertaste.
