Tasty, but not quite great
The nose reminds me of SBS Caroni, but it's less sharp. It's a dirty one, not very complex.
The initial taste is a little bit thin. Almost no sweetness, dirty notes with thin start is a bad combination. I get wood and gum, the taste turns bitter with medical notes.
In the middle are more tannins, the taste is still bitter. Then I get gum, medical notes, leather and anise with wood.
The finish is a little bit spicy, again with tannins, medical notes, leather and anise with wood.
A thin and dirty Caroni, the nose was good, but the taste is not good at all.
It's not complex and too bitter. I would rate it with 68 points.

Spicy and aromatic with a rum-typical sweetness. Furniture polish, leather, chestnuts and roasted almonds. Furthermore it is slightly smoky with tobacco aromas.
Spirituous, slightly bitter and medicinal with notes of cough syrup, old and rotten wood. Peppery chili aroma, mocha and very strong black tea.
Medium long and dry. Very oaky and medicinal with a slightly bitter aftertaste.
