Nice 2yr Dark rum, Goes well with mixers and enjoyable. Have half a bottle left and sadly they don't stock it anymore where I live. Well worth trying!

Not bad, would probably make a great mixer rum but a bit average straight up

Almost fruity, just a bit of caramel, sweetness. Clean all around, smooth smell, finish etc.
Very similar to other S Pacific rums. Iโ€™ve had several Tahitian and the Plantation Fiji.
Little caramel probably added. Also slight agricole notes even though I donโ€™t think it has sugar cane juice. Maybe from the still

Amber color, nose is a bit funky with some light char. On the palate not a lot of funk, starts with vanilla and butterscotch notes and finishes with light char of charred wood. Completely dry finish.

Nothing special about this one. Didnโ€™t go into it with high hopes and was not disappointed. Straight and mixed about the same. A 4.5 for me

Nosing
Spices , oak , molasses , cardamon

Tasting
Cinnamon buns , sweet sugar , smoked wood,

I am lucky in that I have tasted some SBS Fiji rum and this is non comparison this feels like a product for mass market that is using the east from a distillate ...

Smells sweet and boozy. Harsh on the tongue and bitter. Tastes like alcohol and not much else, don't like this at all. I remember it being much better during the tasting in Fiji because I wouldn't have bought this otherwise. Definitely not worth the money. Terrible in pineapple juice and makes my special drink taste like shit. 1/5*

My first Fijian rum , its a two year old rum and matured in charred oak barrels. Nice golden colour in the glass , not much of a nose , slightly astringent with a caramel , oaky smell.
Quite fiery first sip but to be expected by such a young rum , whiskyish in the mouth but has some sweetness in there as well. Bit of a burn on the way down... but then the best bit ! What seemed to be several seconds later , a lovely berry taste arrived on my tastebuds. Very welcome , in fact i had to repeat the sips a couple of more times just to make sure !
But really just a mixer . its only 37.5 proof , it really is Easily consumable in a bind...
