La Mauny Acacia is a French rum produced in Martinique. It is made from sugarcane juice and aged for a minimum of three years in oak barrels. The rum is then filtered through acacia wood chips before bottling. La Mauny has been producing rum since 1749 and has a ABV of 40%.

Nouveauté 2017, ce rhum blanc titrant 50° a eu une finition dans des fûts d'acacia.
Présentation : bouteille standard La Mauny, le rhum a une légère coloration jaune.
Nez : fruité, canne à sucre
Bouche : assez sec, alcool, puis canne et fruits
Finale : canne
En dépit de son appellation "acacia" ce rhum blanc est très classique, je ne trouve pas la plus-value de cette finition. C'est un rhum très correct, parfait pour les ti punchs et les planteurs.
Le La Mauny "ananas", un rhum aromatisé, est bien plus intéressant.

Visited the La Mauny Distillery while vacationing in Martinique. One of the best hands on distillery tours followed by an open tasting bar. La Mauny Acacia Blanc 50 was priced at EUR 11 at the distillery. Pretty decent old school bottle and label design. Traditional very dry Rhum Agricole notes followed by grass, spices, citrus fruits and floral bouquet to your nose and palate. Very strong burn at the end. Rhum Agricole lovers can easily add 2 points to my score.
