I have been on a search for a replacement for my tortuga coconut and the plam and oak has been a great substatue to hold me over between my trips to the grand cayman. They have done a great job with making their coconut flavored rum taste natural like it wasn't produced in some factory. It is great over the rocks or straight which are the two ways I like to drink my rums. I am looking forward to trying their other variations as well. Hopefully they hold distillery tours as they are also local to me and I would love to visit their place of business

Avast, this be an outstanding flavored rum! She smells of sweet coconuts, and be even more coconuttier in flavor. Aye, I made that word up. Captain's prerogative! Smooth, sweet, full body, coconuts. Zero burn. Lots of coconut flavor. Great for sippin'! I could see some of the more dainty folk adding things to it. I won't ever pollute a good rum. Especially one this good! Don't think for a moment that because I hail from Saint Petersburg I'm showing favoritism. No self-respecting Captain would do that... even if he did... which I didn't... or did I? arrgh...

The aroma on this 70 proof coconut rum is of gentle coconut with a smooth taste to match. At only $17 per bottle, this is an absolute bargain. Not quite as good as Brinley Gold Shipwreck Coconut for about $7 more, but this rum will serve as a damn good substitute for that one.

Considering all coconut rums, this would be a 10. However, I cannot rank any coconut rum above a 6 when compared to my aged dry rums, no matter how much I love coconut. These make fantastic beach drinks, but are not true rums by any means.

One airport bottle of this would kill every coconut palm on the island! This stuff is so simulated, so full of artificial flavor it should carry a hazmat label. Toxic stuff. Dangerous for pets, children and you.
