Matusalem Gran Reserva 15-year rum is produced using a combination of rums aged on average 15 years and distilled from molasses using the solera process.

I would like to taste him one more time. But when I tried him, I didnt like it. Maybe I will get hand on it sometimes later and change my opinion.
Easy not very impressive rum. Light nose. Taste like sugar, wood, but bot like something like a 15yo.
A full bodied rum with a light pleasant sweetness. Woody notes dominate but has a creamy finish.
Smooth and very well blended.
"The aftertaste is quite spicy and hot. Not in an alcohol burn way."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

The smell reminds me of Dzama vanilla. It is definitely a thinner rum with a bit of that flavour also present in dzama. Vanilla? Warm vanilla yes. Not too much finish but still a very enjoyable basic rum for a 15 year Solera. Especially given the cheaper price tag, ($34CAD). It didn't last too long!
