6,5:On the nose, we have vanilla, butter, caramel and a very light coffee note.
7,5:On the palate, it is only slightly sweet, characterized mainly by a caramel aroma, vanilla, spice, some fruitiness-peach and subtle hints of wood.
7:The moderately long finish again features caramel and vanilla aromas.

Nice dark rum, with a hint of caramel. Works well on its own. Haven't tried it with cola yet

My brief first impression review: Deep rich oak molasses come to the nose, hints of a heavy body, however on the tongue the molasses and toffee dominate but the promise of robust body was not really fulfilled, hints of caramel and coconut but only enough to wish there were more of them. finish is medium but rushing the next sip. perhaps it is bit too thin to my palate preference, i didn't forget it is a 15 year Solera, so i must compare it to others in this league, it is clearly not an average of 15 years, not by taste, i would not dare to compare it's depth and average maturity to anything aged more than 6-8 years. and Botran 15 is quite a good example of similar solera method with slightly more bodied result.
Rating at first Impression is 7.5/10, but i promised myself to return to a full bottle in the near future and reconsider.

Distinguished rum with a blend of caramel, vanilla, and spice. Velvety texture, long-lasting finish.

Got this as a present and was optimistic, but this does not have a lot of aroma... Okay for a mixed drink but not pure.

Vzhľadom k priaznivej cene do 25€ hodnotím subjektívnou silnou šestkou.
24,20€

I gave this rum several shots but it never proved drinkable to me. Too much ethanol-like smell. Some fruits in taste. We used it for grog with a lot of spices like cinnamon, badian, etc. (And btw, the grog was great.)
