Madeira má v tomto smere naozaj sklamala. Rum,ktorý dozrieval vo FR sudoch má skutočne bledú farbu, nevýraznú vôňu a chuť to tiež nezachránila.

nez assez léger, plutôt agréable.
Première gorgée pas trop agressive, légère note de banane
Seconde gorgée plus profonde et là ... submergé par l'amertume.
Dommage.

Very aromatic, nose is quite sweet and grassy. It is agricole style after all.
The taste is unfortunately dry and very hot.

Nose: riped fruits and some hints of wooden barrels
Palate: short and young, maybe too young...not much volume, not much body

Light honey yellow in the glass.
In the nose very interesting, fruity fresh fragrances like pollen, freshly cut grass/sugar cane, glue, wood and a breeze sea.
On the palate relatively undemanding, mild aromas of sugar cane, some wood, a pinch of caramel and a hint of vanilla.
In the finish more like a fruit brandy, a little wood and caramel.
As summer rum or for light mix drinks certainly not a bad choice. -7

Dry agricole Rum.
I Had two Versions of the William Hinton 3.
One from maderia and one with from Portugal labeld.
The one from maderia ist sweeter and has a Vanilla Note. The Others is Just dry and too Woody.
Works great with Coke but not If you drink it without anything else

The island of Madeira is known for many things, but rum really isn´t one of them and after tasting this one, I would suggest, that the island should stay with its namesake spirit.

Nose: Faint woody notes mixed with sugar cane, vanilla and a slight spice
Taste: A whole lot of vanilla with some funky agricole, nuts and wood in the background
Overall: This is a weird one. It has many of the notes, that I associate with agricole, but they are all somehow masked by an almost unpleasant taste of vanilla, that doesn´t fit in anywhere. There are some good notes there, but the vanilla needs to be turned way down.

I was surprised that this was somewhat smooth for being so young. That said, nothing special and would use primarily as a mixer.

The nose is fruit candy. The taste is sweet and round. Very pleasant for a 3 year old.
