Excellent, dry agricole rum from Madeira. The wood is well integrated.

Had a bottle Christmas 2019 and me and my brother in law shared it neat and we both really enjoyed it, you could really get the Madeira barrel aging which marked it out as different from anything else I've had. Would buy again at the right price.

agricole, 3 léty
- vůně klasika agricole, nasládlost, cukrová třtina, vanilka
- chuť nasládlá, nástup štiplavosti, typická pro agricole, vanilka
Sice má mizerné hodnocení, mne vcelku baví, neznám cenu, ale cenu do 23 EUR bych akceptoval

Light honey yellow in the glass.
In the nose very interesting, fruity fresh fragrances like pollen, freshly cut grass/sugar cane, glue, wood and a breeze sea.
On the palate relatively undemanding, mild aromas of sugar cane, some wood, a pinch of caramel and a hint of vanilla.
In the finish more like a fruit brandy, a little wood and caramel.
As summer rum or for light mix drinks certainly not a bad choice. -7

Forget your typical rum flavours and enjoy. Ok, there is some oak and vanilla on the nose but there is also a herbal scent and a reminder of juniper. Light and delicate scents.
On the palate there are hints of (non-sweet) apricots and prunes, the oak becomes a bit more prominent as do the juniper/herbal notes. Drinks more like an eau-de-vie than like your average rum.
Light, fruity and herbal with a little oak to give it some backbone this is a well balanced sipper for tropical nights. Not the rum you want after surviving a november hailstorm , this is summer in your glass.
Really enjoyable and considering its age, smooth enough; I like!!

I bought this one on the island of Madeira for 10€ and was surprised how good it tasted. compared to some others I had on the island its very uncomplicated to drink. first minutes you'll have the typical glue smell of younger agricoles, but this will vanish after some minutes, but you'll also find fruity, floral and vanilla notes from the beginning, very nice.
the taste is from the beginning very smooth with some pudding-like vanilla aroma and floral notes, and even a nice long aftertaste. totally recommend this if you're on the island. double or triple the price would be too much.

The nose is fruit candy. The taste is sweet and round. Very pleasant for a 3 year old.
