Never thought I'd give a light rum a 9, but there you have it.

I tried this at the 2017 Pensacola Rum festival. Based on the bottle and label (not a fan of the label design), and that it was a silver, I wasn't expecting much more than sugared up rubbing alcohol. Man I was wrong. Incredibly smooth, perfectly balanced. A hint of crisp citrus. Just enough vanilla to be smooth without being sweet. No alcohol burn. A good clean, silver rum. If you are wanting a clean, smooth mixer that isn't too sweet, this is it. Doing some digging on it, it's a Grain & Barrel Spirits out of Palm Beach brand, and is produced at the West Indies Rum Distillery in Barbados. I'm seeing it priced online at about 15 bucks which is a steal. My new favorite light rum. Will get a bottle for cocktails as soon as I find it locally.
