was fine for mixed drinks, nothing special. a little overpriced
Blend of rums aged 2–4 years (pot & column), according to their website. Bit of a nail polish nose. Pretty bland taste; I'd say it was over-filtered and over-diluted. Not bad, though, really. Good bite to it. I think this would be an excellent mixer.

The "light aging" definitely shows the differences in production and ingredients amongst rums, while leaving you able to start to see the path that it will take as it ages. There wasn't anything "bad" about this rum, it retains a lot of the wild flavors from the distillation, which certainly settle out in their more aged bottles
