Kraken Black Label

I enjoy rum because I like how it tastes. I like to always have my glass full. There can be a problem with those two things. (You drink too many and the rest is history). This was a great alternative for my preferred rum, Kraken Black original. The lower proof allowed me to enjoy a beverage all night without getting a little crazy. The flavors are similar to Kraken but pulled back a bit. Kind of like a Diet Kraken, or Kraken Jr. Still enjoyable all the same! I believe this was discontinued for the Kraken Gold, so if you find it, and want to enjoy a bottle while keeping your wits about you, this is a great option!

Excellent full bodied rum . Try it neat or with coke.

A decent Run with a decent flavor. Nothing Spectacular but definitely worth repeating.

Not my kind of rum. Really dark and sugary. Tastes of pepper, mint and liquorice. Smells of coffee. Good in a pinch i suppose but Id rather not have a spiced rum. I do applaud the fact that it doesn't taste of vanilla like so many spiced rums. Save your money for a normal rum.

Good rum for mixing in say some Coca Cola and ice.. not a rum I would drink neat or on ice… good mixer

This stuff has some flavor, but it's very artificial. It's spiced party/bar rum for mixing. That's about it. The first time I had it, I thought it was nice. When I mixed it with Coke it reminded me of Kirkland Signature Spiced Rum which is quite awful. I couldn't finish the drink. I just didn't taste natural.

For the same money get some Plantation 3 Star, or Original Dark.

I did not enjoy this at all. My bar is not set very high and yet I just turned my nose up at this.
