59% ABV. Aged in "very old barrels." N: Windex and rubbing alcohol. Dissipates somewhat to cane sugar. Something deeper hiding underneath. Fairly sweet palate. Very sharp. Medium-short finish.

An odd little rum. Unusual combo of Guadeloupe (agricole? not certain) and Guyana. I wanted to like this rum more than I did, but just couldn't quite get past the Windex! Still, it's not bad underneath. Maybe it needed some water, who knows. Interesting though it may be, I'm not impressed with my first taste of a Bristol Classic rum.

Won this one at an auction and can't find much info about it online, which makes me believe this rum hasn't been around for a while.

In the nose at first the aggricole is dominant, but after a few minutes you can smell the Guyana rum too.

In the mouth I think I can recognise some Port Mourant, but have not been able to verify this.

Normally I don't sip white r(h)um, but this is perfectly acceptable as a sipper.
However for me it really shines when mixed with fruit juice.
