Beautiful rich amber in the glass.
On the nose, just wow. Soft, elegant and completely balanced, the scents send you on an exciting journey. Pear mousse and raspberry cotton candy kick off this adventure. Other fruits are presented, papaya, pineapple, mango, banana and a coconut. Furthermore in the program are delicate caramel with aromatic vanilla and a touch of cardamom. A stop at the woods carefully toasted by master hands offers an opportunity for souvenirs.
On the palate, simply delicious. The excursion continues, passing caramel rivers and fruit orchards. Your heart beats faster and your taste buds swell. So many flavors meet you on this trip, mango, passion fruit, pear, quince to name a few fruits, sweet caramel, bourbon vanilla, exotic spices, toasted woods, blooming flower meadows are discovered and a spark of funk lives in each one.
On the finish, the caramel melts on a wooden pier, peppered with fruit and you're looking straight into the sunset.
Oh yea, what an awesome rum. Been sitting in my bar long enough, time to drink it. For connoisseurs and those who want to be.

For those familiar with Rum-Bar Gold this rum will feel like a similar, but more mature version of said rum.
It's a sipper without any doubt, where the Rum-Bar Gold is more a mixer for most people. WP offerings seem to have a distinctive taste to them, while staying true to what people expect from typical Jamaican rum. It has an ester count around 119, so not that high for a pure Jamaican pot still rum, but means it makes a nice relaxing sipper.
