FAIR 11y from Belize has a unique bottle design but very bland label. Color is pure gold, surprisingly light for an 11y old rum. Smell is strong wood indicating long whisky aging. Taste test reveals a dry woody whisky like rum, but plenty of exciting flavors. Mild burn at the end.
So much flavour and complexity, like they double-concentrated the 10 year old. Fruity, spicy, very very rich with just enough sweetness to take the edge off... don't bother watering this down. Immediately up there with my favourite (Angostura 1824). If you can get hold of a bottle, pull the trigger!

Unctuous and complex 9 out of 10
With a beautiful golden amber colour, this complex rum opens on the nose on spicy notes, fruity, on citrus fruits like mandarin or lemon. On the palate, it is very greedy to see pastry, the citrus fruits explode to arrive on a very beautiful and long finish with the woody arrive at the end with spices and a little chocolate. A magnificent rum from the sugar Belize farmers cooperative. real rate = 8,5
