Light colour due to the natural presentation. No artificial colour E-150, no chill-filtration here. Even better, no added sugar, just pure Jamaican goodness. If you like that dunder funk, you'll love this one. It can be an acquired taste, like smokey, peaty Isla whisky, but when you get it, you get. Integrity, quality, and flavour and aroma for days.

The nose is pungent and rich. Abundant mushy banana, resin-like airplane glue, coconut, vanilla, golden brown sugar, ginger, nutmeg.

The rum coats the mouth and is full bodied and enveloping. Off-dry, tropical fruits such as guava and passionfruit. Butterscotch, vanilla, muscovado sugar, ginger, nutmeg. Sweet and sour finish that begs another sip.

Tried a glass of Berry Bros 13y Jamaica and why in earth do these Jamaican rums have to have such a strong glue smell and taste to them. Its awful, its offputting, its just simply nasty. Color is very light so no sugar. Bottle looks high end. Struggles to earn a 2.
