Non disponible à la SAQ. J'ai eu une bouteille de 1989. Teneur en alcool de 58.4%. Ça ne vaut pas la peine d'en rapporter de la Guadeloupe.

Like the vintage 1995, the 1991 is a full proof rhum meaning strong and powerful one.
The color is really dark. The nose is strong with cooked fruits aromas, plum and vanilla.
On the palate, this Vintage 1991 is potent and wooded.
Definitively a rhum to sip after a good meal ! :-D

One of the first distilleries I visited was that of Damoiseau. I've always had a weakness for rum is for me the simplest and most sophisticated expression of what can give the sugar cane processing. I was disappointed with the XO but the bottle had been a problem . Back with this cask vintage 1991. vegetal and earthy side of cane is superb with notes of leather and tobacco . It is very long finish with a oak & cigar box finish.

Very powerfull and dry for an aged rum, but with a vanilla and wood taste.
