Lambβs Navy Rum is a blend of Caribbean rums that are aged four years in whiskey and bourbon barrels.
The original Lamb's Navy rum recipe, created by Alfred Lamb, blended 18 different rums sourced from Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados and Guyana. Lamb began blending the rums in England in 1859 and references the British Royal Navy in its name.

A poor rum and disappointingly prevalent. Wouldn't buy it in the shops although wouldn't send it back if served it in the pub
Good for a drink in the pub with coke. Nothing more than that.
The most ubiquitous rum in pubs in the uk and its a bit meh works ok as a mixer ot with peppermint but very rough round the edges.
and spiced. Overly done not a great navy rum. Supermarket own brand is comparable and often better
The reputation of this rum proceeded it so I avoided it for years. Tried it straight up recently and it lived up to it's critics, very harsh making it hard to even describe any flavour it might have. I can't imagine it being much better with a mixer and I will not be trying it.
Only with Coke, not even good enough to be my bar rum
If I hated that person. It's chemical warfare in a bottle. Artificial spice, artificial colour, added sugar, soulless.
You get what you pay for as with all things and I wouldn't buy this rum again. Too much sweet molasses and treacle flavour for me.
Taken the mantle of the standard dark rum

The rum is very sweet.
"Itβs a very rich, sweet, fruity rum."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Iβm quite the fan of a hot chocolate and rum on a winter's night. Iβd never dream of putting a decent rum in a hot drink so this is my go to. Its not as bad as some of the other cheap/entry level rums.
