Lambβs Navy Rum is a blend of Caribbean rums that are aged four years in whiskey and bourbon barrels.
The original Lamb's Navy rum recipe, created by Alfred Lamb, blended 18 different rums sourced from Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados and Guyana. Lamb began blending the rums in England in 1859 and references the British Royal Navy in its name.

This one I remember from my younger years. Clearly a Navy rum with the roll proof bottle!
Fiery stuff, dark and horrible. But good in a Hot lemon!
mid to bottom shelf, but easy to find! If I turn into a drooling alcoholic I will drink more of this evil stuff!
Flat and lacks distinction but have had a few over the years.
Feels a little watered down and wouldn't particularly choose this if I had the choice
I canβt say I liked this one but it done the job. π
I actually don't care for this rum . Don't get me wrong I'll drink it but cut it with cola
Nowadays there are better dark or spiced runs available, for. Similar price or slightly more expensive. In comparison, this one no longer seems authentic to the Navy tradition it markets itself on. The taste is a bit synthetic. Drinkable in mixed drinks but that's all. Don't give it as a present. Best would be to use what you have left for cooking and then upgrade.
A bitter Rum with little aged taste and feel to it. A very brown bag type Rum.
Much prefer spiced I donβt really like just plain dark rums
Taken the mantle of the standard dark rum

The rum is very sweet.
"Itβs a very rich, sweet, fruity rum."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Tough stuff, it'll put hairs on your chest and also degrease engines... Tastes exactly like the rum in rum and raisin ice cream.
