Montebello 2013 Cuvée Speciale 50 2-Year

A magnificent white rum from a single cane field limited to 1250 bottles. The nose is on the fresh sugar cane with floral notes. In the mouth the floral side is well present with notes of white fruits. It is very round and soft. A superb rum in elegance. According to Francis Lefaux, chief executive of the development at Montebello, whom we met during this tasting, he has notes of white truffle. But these notes come at a very precise moment. It's up to you to find.

Only the HSE Titouan Lamazou 50 can compare in terms of delicacy... But this one has a quite unique beautiful 'truffle-milky/white chocolate' sugarcane expression that just grows on you... The smoothness is just incredible, it's just so well balanced, so many pricey aged rums cannot pretend to this balance.

This is magical agricole, totally absolutely NO alcohol burn in this (there is more alcohol notes in most chardonnays you can find) , they managed to get rid of these agressive notes and only pure creaminess and a sweet pepper touch do tango.
