La Mauny Blanc 50 is a white rum produced by the La Mauny distillery in Martinique. It is made from fresh sugar cane juice and distilled using a traditional copper column still method. The rum is aged for at least three months in stainless steel vats before being bottled at 50% alcohol by volume (ABV). La Mauny has a long history dating back to the 18th century and is located in the heart of Martinique's sugar cane fields.

Je suis martiniquais donc j'ai goûté beaucoup de rhums blancs en ti'punch et pour une raison quelconque, celui-ci est de loin mon préféré. Dès qu'on ouvre la bouteille, l'odeur nous explose au nez (la meilleure odeur que j'ai jamais senti pour un rhum). Ensuite le goût est extrêmement fruité, donc excellent.
Considéré comme un des rhums les plus "cheap" de Martinique (une bouteille coûte 5 euros à la distillerie!), mais tout de même de loin mon préféré en Ti' Punch !

as many rhum agricole, clear, fruity with a fire, a slightly lighter body than some agricole, mixes nice into a ti ponch, recommended.

50% ABV. Surprisingly gentle nose, but typical agricole notes. Surprisingly sweet palate. 7+, 8-?

As other reviewers have remarked, this is certainly a classic fruit taste from Martinique. The terroir isn't massively present but it's still one of my favorites for a Ti'Punch. I find it comparable to some HSE batches.

I tried out this one as Ti-Punch in Martinique and it's really good. Would recommand it for mixers.
