Kraken Black Spiced Rum was first introduced by Proximo Spirits in 2010 . The dark rum is infused with 11 “secret” spices, caramel and other natural flavors.
The rum gets its name after the mythical sea creature 'The Kraken'. As legend has it, this terrifying creature attacked ships at sea during the 18th and 19th centuries - possibly for all the rum on board.

As rums go this is one of my favourites for casual drinking

Kraken is easy to go rum with strong aroma, so if you want your friend to enter the world of rums - Kraken is a great invetation!

First you taste the caramel then comes the rest and alcohol , nice smooth full body taste for spiced . The more you drink the better ... First time i drink half bottle and it was perfect !!!
Benn drinking Rum for years and finallyn found Kraken ill drink nothing else fine taste and being 40% a bit more kick.
Really good 47 % mix well with coke and ice.......
Please don't change the ingredients, one person said it had to much spice and ginger. It's just right. They can add ice if they think its to strong.

The flavor of this for me is exceptionally amazing. It's a good mixer rum as well as having it straight. I always keep this rum in the freezer. Having it stone cold for me is the way I like it. To me having it like that brings out the flavor that it has to offer.
The Kraken Black ist eine aromatisierter Spirituose, die im Geschmack intensive Aromen von Schokolade und Karamell aufweist. In Kombination mit einem durchdringenden Melasse Geschmack aber die feinen Noten von Ingwer, Zimt und Vanille nicht überdeckt.
