Mais ça reste un rhum cubain. Plus doux que autres Cubay et Santiago de Cuba.
Acheté directement au musée havana à La Havane,
Le packaging est quant à lui magnifique
Smooth, Quality Rum. but It tastes exactly what people think rum tastes like. nothing is too special about it.
Was excited to try this. Underproofed, underwhelming.
This rum starts incredibly smooth. However, it has a very long finish that gets a little burning. I think it definitely needs to be served on the rocks or with some water to open it up but it is pretty good.
I don't mind the higher proof spirits straight but they need to have balance and this doesn't. Ethanol burn through and through overpowering what flavor is present
Too dry for me, alcohol is very present with oak aroma but I can't define more aroma. Not for me.
No bad, but you can find much better rums in this price range
It smells of apricot and peaches.
"Well blended and well-balanced spirit that it’s smoothness shines through. There is very little roughness or aggressive spirit tones when sipped."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Edit: just had another sample, but now from a freshly opened bottle. It‘s still a 6, but now, the nose detects some hints of oak and maybe even caramel, while the palate detects intense spices and smoke.
Bit I still miss volume, body and aftertaste.
Notes from first sample:
Nose: a bit fruity, some hints of lime maybe
Palate: Certainly way better than the 3-Year, but still not very tasty: missed body, volume and aftertaste, but the bottle was already open for years. A bit harsh too.
Not the best choice to sip neat, but worked well in a Mojito.
