Mojitos, Cuba Libres and Daiquiris would not exist without this rum.
People who rated this rum after drinking straight from the bottle are just not using the rum for its intended purpose.

This is a cocktail rum, classic Cuban likely edged rating a bit, several other better rums for this purpose Bacardi silver, plantation and Eldorado. Perfect for its intended purpose but expect a hangover.

Poor, neutral alcohol with little character. The only reason I don't rate it lower is because it doesn't have enough character to be disgusting or distasteful.

Not bad for a white rum, but not good in general. Drink it like the Cubans do, with only a drop of cola.

La bouteille la moins chère de Cuba, bien pour les punchs d'été ou de Noel, sans plus.

This one is slightly better than the Bacardi Superior White but still only good for cocktails.

I personly don't like white rums because for me they almost taste just like alcohol, really boring... whites are only good to make cocktails but I just like to drink straight I don't like cocktails... but in Cuba, you will be happy if someone is trying to make your cocktail using that rum... ;)
