Havana Club 3-Year

Reply not my favourite. Was very disappointed. Cocktails only and wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

Perfect for mojitos, but won't ever drink it straight

Mein 1. besserer Rum:
Viele haben Ihren ersten besseren Rum-Cola wahrscheinlich mit diesem 3-jährigen Havana Club getrunken, so auch bei mir.
Für mich ist er zwar nicht mehr erste Wahl, aber dennoch ein solider Rum für einen Partyabend.
Nichts Tolles, aber besser als Nichts.
Alles darunter schmeckt mir allerdings überhaupt nicht mehr.
Deshalb bekommt er von mir 4 Punkte und ist der "Basisrum" für alle weiteren Bewertungen.

Preis: ca. 9-15€

Geruch:
unspezifisch, sprittig und nicht sehr lecker.

Geschmack pur (Note 2):
Eigentlich so wie sein Geruch. Nicht süß. Eigentlich ungenießbar.

Geschmack in Cola (Note 5):
Hier ist er sanfter und nicht mehr so sprittig - eben ein typischen Havanna Club-Rum-Geschmack ohne besonderer Note.

Rhum basique sans grands intérêts.
Trop doux et manque d'arôme.

In 1993, French-owned Pernod Ricard and the government of Cuba created a state-run 50:50 joint venture called Corporación Cuba Ron (havana club, santiago de cuba, rum cubay, sao can, perla del norte rum).
2. distillery (2022) and bottled: two Cuban distilleries - at the Rum Factory of Santa Cruz del Norte (east of Havana) and at San Jose (south-east of Havana)

this ron is only for cocktails. it was ok in cuba libre, rum cola, but nothing special, especially for such price. for this money, you can always find better options for cocktails. won't buy it again also because of Cuba, which has been supporting russia in its aggression against Ukraine since 2014.

tried it pure - the alcohol dominates the first taste with a heavy burn, extended time needed until some cane aroma can be identified. Would be a 3 if rated on a pure drinking basis. 4 rating for better service of this rum with mixing.

Denne er god i forskjellige cocktail. Ville ikke drukket den bar.

Rum is by itself not so enjoyable, not good for sipping, it's only usefull for mixing it with (cola), very very much Cola. My friend was drinking it straight from the bottle and almost got AIDS. In conclusion - not that bad rum.
