This was a #1 entering rum at local degustation. Normally I don't find appropriate to rate just a degu rums but this one was so palbably dull, boring and watered down I can.
Tastier than Mezan from Jamaica, if you ask me, but equally boring, I would not even recognize these coutries of origin of not having the information. Very light and very pale.
A rum totally lacking mojo and oomph, weak, no nothing, maybe good as a mixer or solid etrance rum for someone drinking sweeties. No real taste and no character.
It has some nice dry demerara character, with coffee, rubber, cardemom seeds... but it's quite light and lacks body and oomph.
Superb straw color very clear with floral notes, vegetable, apple, pear and a little woody. In the mouth, the pear takes the top delicately and subtly. A beautiful rum not very long but all in fineness.
