Nose: Brown sugar with a hint of grass
Taste: Bubblegum, brown sugar, rubber, baking spices

Very solid and different from the usual fare. Not out-of-this-world good but I’m glad I had a glass and would happily have another.

Not much to say about it. Close to every other good and sweet Plantation rum. Excellent sipper.
76/100 by my scale.

This is the right stuff. Nice aroma of caramel, honey. Smooth, decent sweetness and medium long taste of arrack, papaya, caramel, pear. You got to try this.

Harmonious. Dense, concentrated, can be slightly diluted. Definitely worth buying another one! .,.,.,. Запах парка в конце лета, цветочной приторности, спиртовой резкости, парафинов. Вкус сладкий, плотный/маслянистый, с кислинкой и терпкостью, концентрированный. "Пусть всегда будет Солнце, ..., пусть всегда буду я."

Light nose, smooth with a bit on the back end but overall classic Plantation goodness

An excellent sipping rum. It has a sweet woody vanilla overtone and aftertaste, enriched by mango and banana like notes.
Does not disappoint in a daiquiri either but it is not, for me at least a mixing rum.
Great job by Plantation. You can still feel the initial alcohol bite by it mellows out.
For me it is best served like a cognac, at room temperature to really bring out its value.

The value for the money is great and it is a Caroni, the Plantation Trinidad until 2003 is Caroni´and you will not find a Caroni for 30 Euro....
Its not a Caroni 1996 Kirsch or a Velier Last, but for this price it is like a gift....

Mycket för pengarna! Tror det här är den mest prisvärda romen jag testat. God intressant smak, kanske lite stickig

I generally like darker complex rum with more body but this one really intrigued me. So smooth. Really incredible. Very balanced with terrific fruit notes and an oak finish. Not overwhelming by any means. Nice, light and a great sipper. Better over ice than neat. Would also be sensational as a mixer. This has definitely earned a permanent spot in my liquor cabinet
