Aroma: Vliv calvadosu mi přišel od první chvíle hodně znatelný, jako když si čichnete ke štrůdlu. Skořice, odleželá nastrouhaná jablka, rozinky. Je ale i trochu ředidlový. Dál med, tmavá čokoláda, dřevo. (88 b)
Chuť: Napřed je v chuti sladší, pak se ozve štrůdl a koření, postupně v chuti sladkost ustupuje a na koci je už znatelně suchý. (87 b)

Shrnutí: Další ze single cask série Plantationu, donesl jsem si vzorek z baru Kocour a přímo jsem srovnával s dalším vzorkem, Plantation SC Belize 2004 Port Finish, což byl můj nejlépe hodnocený rum za minulý rok. Vliv calvadosu byl silnější, než jsem čekal, špatný rum to určitě není, takový snad Plantation vyrobit ani neumí, ale z této řady mám favority jinde.

Ester, fruity, citrus intensive aroma, decent smoke, vanilla body, only warming in the aftertaste

C est un rhum peu cher, mais qui pour moi reste trop faible en goût et en longueur. Notes au nez de brûlé un peu comme le sainte Lucie. Le goût est doux notes de bourbon qui reviennent. Mais à ce prix je conseille de loin un dillon vsop 20e en supermarché, plus puissant et plus gourmand. Je ne conseille donc pas ce rhum. Note 6.8.

taste is cinnamon, tropical fruits, coffee. Woody, Good rum, complex, pricy but there are far more better plantation blends available for a better price than this one. I enjoyed it however.

I admit that I drink such a special rum for the first time in my life. the taste is cinnamon, tropical fruits, coffee. Really very strange. It's not my favorite, but maybe I'll come back to that.
