There is no Trader Joe's close by where I live, so while on the road, I stumbled across one in Arizona. At $6.99 per bottle, the expectations cannot be any lower. Bottle looks cheap, label looks like a 5 year old designed it and it has a screw cork. Light amber color and very strong artificial vanilla to the nose. Very bland to the palate with more artificial vanilla extract. Mix it with your favorite soda and it goes down in distress. Other than that as a neat sipper, it has a very offputting flavor and burn at the end. Still not as bad as Captain Morgan has to offer for you.
Use it for cocktails and thatβs about it. Pretty bland on its own.

I thought maybe there would be something redeeming when I saw it at Trader Joe's, like Two Buck Chuck. Alas, no such luck. No sweetness. Little flavor. Smells a bit like rubbing alcohol. Mixed, I at least got the Coke flavor.
