This was in my advent calendar and was the first one I absolutely loved. Really smooth, will be getting a bottle ASAP.
Absolutely whole complete balanced rum. Wine taste, aroma of plums, dried fruits, spices, dense and smooth. Not alcoholic. Just one light touch is missing to make it incredible.
Абсолютно цельный, полный, сбалансированный ром. Винный вкус, аромат сливы, сухофруктов, специй плотный и гладкий. Не спиртуозен. Не хватает лишь одного лёгкого штриха, чтобы он мог стать невероятным.
This is the best dark rum on the market
Has a little bit of a navy rum flavor
This is one of those “must try before you die” rums. It’s smooth and delightful. It’s gosling’s on another level. Unfortunately, the pricetag is it’s greatest enemy. Any boxed rum will run you an extra penny, but this one doesn’t quite earn its retail denomination. Regardless, it is a wonderful drink for any cocktail or enjoyed on the rocks. Get it as a special gift, but only if you really like the person your gifting it to.
Vanilla/molasses nose reminiscent of their black rum. Very floral on the tongue, smooth, definitely mellowed with age. Slightly spicy but a nice warm after taste. Great when it has a chance to breathe and chill on ice. Bought this with a bottle of Papa Seal and will buy this one again over the Papa Seal.
This is a very tasty rum.. enjoyed neat. Don’t hesitate to try it if you find it. You won’t be disappointed. It’s much better than the black label.
This is an verry interesting ron Not sweet mich fruit
Very deep, dark amber coloring. Peppery, spicy, buttery on the tongue. Almost had the consistency of a nice red wine. Very nice subtle sweetness that lingers with those wine-like notes. Very good and definitely a new sipper to my collection.
There are notes of sweet mixed fruit and a little bitter marmalade.
"Sipped the Family Reserve is initially very sweet. On the tongue, especially you get sweet caramel and a chocolate mouthful initially."
Try to get a well lit shot from the front of the rum label

Disappointing considering what I paid for it, but a good enough rum nonetheless.
