First off, too sweet! The rum tastes and smells nice, but it's hard to tell what is real and what isn't. Not sure if it is artificially flavoured. Not as much added sugar as the ruined A. H. Riise rums, so it's drinkable. But it doesn't feel truly genuine regardless.

A sweet aroma, weak alcoholic and sharp, light fruity. A nice sweet taste, light oily in the mouth, light fruity, some honey.
The finish is soft and medium long, quite sweet. A nice one for dessert.

Very smooth and mellow. Nice chocolatey scent and taste, however, maybe too much on the sweet side. Quite thick and takes a while to decend down the glass. Short finish without too much to talk about.

Eine Enttäuschung für mich, habe mir viel mehr erwartet.
Der schlägt sogar noch den Diplomatico Reserva Exclusiva in Süße, ist aber nicht so komplex im Geschmack.

Gefälliger Rum, nichts aufregendes in Geruch und Geschmack, nach meinem Empfinden ein Likör fürs Dessert.

I recently decided to reconsider my previous ratings (as i keep trying new rum). This rum was one of the first i rated but i still believe the rating is well deserved. Sip it, mix it, do what you like - this sweet rum is great quality for a good price.

Tento rum jsem opět ochutnal náhodou díky známému, kterému tento kousek donesl jeho známý jako present. Mile mne překvapil už svojí nasládlou vůni, kde se mísí ovoce, vanilka s trochou koření. Je jemný a sladký. Mohu vřele doporučit.

Attractive rum bottle with a nice navy style label. This is a basic product from the Austrian Empire line. The name refers to the time when Caribbean rums were distributed by Albert Michler to sailors of the Austrian Empire.
The aroma smells of vanilla, honey, oranges, a little banana and coconut, as well as spices (cinnamon, cloves).
The taste is rather sweeter, but not too much. It remains me Diplomatico RE from the sweet point of view. Vanilla, caramel, coconut, raisins, honey and chocolate again are felt in the taste. I didn't notice so many wood tones. It is a fine rum, but the length of the taste is not too long and intense.
It is definitely a tasty rum that is suitable for beginners and for those who want to try an alternative to Diplomatico.
My overall rating: 8/10

Not bad sweet rum. If you are beginner and want to try something else than Diplomatico or Zacapa go for it. Flavours of vanilla, banana, caramel, tropical fruit and hint of oak.
